HCC-RETAC Workshop

Please save July 17, 2019 for an in-person workshop in the Northwest Region (likely in the Vail area) that will be the first step in the official NWRHCC-RETAC Re-Structuring Project. We've had two meetings and have come to a consensus that the NWRHCC Steering Committee and the RETAC in the NW Region (Northwest, Central Mountain, Northeast, and Foothills) are willing to continue this project. We are inviting representatives from the NWRHCC, the RETACs that serve the NW Region, and CDPHE to join us at the workshop.

The NWRHCC has allocated funding to contract with All Clear Emergency Management Group through December 31, 2019 for project management and facilitation of this process. This workshop will be the first step in our re-structuring process. We have tentatively planned two additional workshops (August and November) and 2-3 virtual meetings (July, September, and October) to finalize this structure, meet the HCC budget and workplan deadline (July 31, 2019), and update the HCC documents (Governance Documents, Preparedness Plan, and Response Plan) to reflect the new structure. We'll discuss the project plan and timeline in more details on July 17.
